Dohmeyer Cryo Tunnel

The Dohmeyer Cryo Tunnel is a continuous cryogenic linear tunnel for cooling and freezing, using liquefied nitrogen (LIN) or liquefied CO₂ (LCO₂). It is available in two configurations — a top-lifting design and a bottom-drop / bottom-exhaust design — both delivering class-leading hygiene: there are no seals, the top lifts along the complete length for full cleaning access, and all internal surfaces slope towards the drainage points. Controlled injection of the cryogen, which immediately evaporates, lowers the temperature in the tunnel, while turbulence fans spread the gas to efficiently transfer cold to the product's surface and a bottom exhaust draws cold gas down through the freezing zone to increase efficiency. A servo-driven gearbox provides a wide range of belt speeds, so dwell time can be set from 90 seconds up to 3 hours to suit the product. Cryogenics give you fast, efficient, quality-assured freezing for IQF, crust freezing, cooling, ice glazing and CFU reduction.
