By bringing a portable slaughter unit directly to the farm, Kometos mobile abattoirs remove the need to transport live animals. This reduces transport stress and delivers an animal-welfare-friendly, environmentally responsible and cost-effective solution for low-volume slaughtering — with a high-quality end product. The units are supplied on semi-trailers and equipped with everything needed to slaughter animals and cool the carcasses on site. Built using Kometos' Finmodule technology, these turnkey units offer outstanding hygiene, efficiency and durability, meet the strict standards of the food industry, and can be customised and expanded for different animals (cattle, sheep, reindeer) as your operation grows.
